    The restaurant Jean Leon opened in Beverly Hills, which gives this Gran Reserva its name, was always a gathering place for artists and nonconformists.
    Gloria Muñoz’s work for the 2013 vintage captures the Penedès landscape, immortalizing a sunset in the vineyards. In this way, she evokes the land chosen by Jean Leon to make wines with individuality, personality, and unique identity.

    Ultimate expression of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety, as well as its aging potential and correct evolution. A wine with an intense and complex aroma. Good tannic structure, great presence and length.

    APPEARANCE

    Dark cherry red hue with mature shades of brick along the rim. Medium to deep color intensity.

    NOSE

    Remarkably intense, with notes of red fruit compote against a backdrop of toast and spices acquired during its time in French oak. Medium to full- bodied on entry, with concentrated tannins imparting a rich and mouthfilling sensation of weight.

    PALATE

    The smooth tannins point to well-ripened grapes and result in an unctuous, elegant, and complex palate as the wine unfolds. Long, fresh, and persistent on the finish.

    Aged for a minimum of 24 months in French oak barrels, followed by bottle aging for at least three years in the cellar.

    Vinification
    Fermentation in stainless steel tanks for around 18 days at a controlled temperature. Once maceration and fermentation have finished (20 days), the barrel aging begins, which is when the malolactic fermentation takes place.
