| Tasting Notes: Pale yellow colour with soft golden hues. Potent and perfumed nose with subtly recognisable aromas of fresh fruits (peach, banana and ripe apple), on a backdrop of oak notes (vanilla, toast). Fresh attack, lively and oily with notes of ripe melon. Good acidity and persistence in the mouth, with marked presence of alcohol. Long aftertaste, enhanced by notes of oak. |
| Varieties: 100% Chardonnay the pago’s youngest vines and those grown closest to the valley. |
| Winemaking and ageing: Harvested by hand. Pneumatic press. First 60% of the must used. Alcoholic fermentation at a temperature of 16ºC in stainless steel vats. Lightly aged for between 2 and 3 months in new French oak casks. Finally, the wines rests for a few months in the bottle and is usually released onto the market at the end of April. |
